Installation

The Firefly III Data Importer is a tool separate from Firefly III. You can read more about that on another page.

If you had previously installed the data importer, following the upgrade instructions is enough.

For the installation of the data importer, you have several choices.

Installation choices

In no specific order of preference:

• Install and run using Docker
• Install and run a self-hosted instance
• Don't install anything, but use the public instance

Configuration

In all cases the data importer needs post-installation configuration. If you wish to use Nordigen or Spectre, please read about Nordigen and Spectre first.
